Defeq.com is a site dedicated to bringing Ableton Live users a continually expanding collection of exciting new Ableton ‘add-ons’ and educational products. In collaboration with Defeq.com ‘Definition Musik’ parallels this passion for music and technology and strives to bring the community and fans the very latest in contemporary experimental electronic music.
The idea is simple… sharing, education and music, together in an effort to propagate creativity and positivity.
Check this one out, some good sample packs, not only for use in Live...:)

hello,
If you are looking for some fieldrecordings from the globe:
The SoundTransit project revolves around a growing collection of environmental sounds recorded by 'soundhunters' from all over the world
You can find them here:
http://soundtransit.nl/
And the download is free.
You can even book a audiojourney around the world.

If you are not aware of KVR (a great site for free plug-in info), one of the users maintains a list of free and legal sample / loop sites that is updated semi-regularly. Some of the older links will no doubt be broken, but there is still plenty of great material to be had:

This is a good one to check out:

750 MB of vintage / classic drum machine hits ... you can't go wrong with that
Peace,
Andy.
