Here's the youtube description:
4 melodies generated from Numerology software to a MOTM 650 MIDI-CV converter and selected with a DIY switcher. Mostly synthesizers.com system with Modcan VCDO and Digital Delay, MOTM 440 filter and MegaOhm Delta filter and Suit and Tie Guy Wavefolder. Music, including Drumaxx drums generated in real time, no edits or overdubs. Noisy sounds generated mostly by cross-FM'ing filters. This is my first HD video with new cameras and lights with some effects from Final Cut Pro all in a new bigger studio space. Thanks for watching!

In setting this up I was going to assign Num presets to MIDI controllers and then happened to spot the new Playlist (for presets) feature. Wow! It was perfect for this. Thanks Jim - I'll be using this a lot! It would be nice if it had an infinite loop setting though, when you just want to loop back and forth between 2 presets, for example. Are nested loops possible? I haven't really messed with it too much yet to know. I need to RTFM...

Youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3itXPaJhLo) - try the HD version if your connection is up for it.

Better quality audio is on Soundcloud (http://soundcloud.com/doctorvague/snapdragon-modular-synth)

Nice, thanks for sharing! An infinite loop option is on my to-do list for the preset playlist. Nested loops (a rather tricky process) would have to wait for the timeline though...

The STG wavefolder is also on my modular wish-list....

Cheers,
Jim

Thanks Jim. I kinda figured nested loops could be a sticky proposition and might not even be a good idea. The infinite setting would be good though.

The Wavefolder is killer! I plan to do a demo video soon with split screen showing knob-twist and patching while also showing an oscilloscope shot of what's happening to the waves while you're hearing it. It's almost as fun to watch as it is to listen to and will probably help me understand what's going too!

Yes, and perhaps also a way to 'kick it out' on the fly....

Cool, I look forward to seeing that. It would be very interesting to see a spectrum display also. Apple has a spectrum viewer AU example floating around somewhere...

Quite beautiful work, nice video. I like your lab coat... Now you just need a couple of Dancers dressed in tights creating visual annotations of your waves...

The modular set-up looks very impressive, and makes me think that getting bit by the modular bug is something to wait with until after I inherit a bag of gold from a rich uncle or win the lotto..

I am in total love with my Toppobrillo wavefolder. The 3 folders have breakout connections, and it is absolutely lovely, from glassy smooth to very harsh.

But I also know that you & STG got a thang goin' on ;-)

Eric and I have been friends for many years -- he had a significant influence on several parts of Numerology. I'm in the process of trading an old synth (Korg Z1) for a few modules, so yes, I'll be getting one of his wavefolders. The Toppobrillo does look very nice -- and that's the great thing about modulars, you can easily mix-n-match...

Cheers,
Jim

Since you guys are interested in the Wavefolder I thought I'd let you know I posted a new video that shows an oscilloscope while tweaking the Wavefolder in real time. Definitely helped me understand better what it is doing!

Great, thanks for sharing.
this is very helpful to understand what a wavefolder can do.
I' made a similar thing to understand how work the Doepfer's A-137 wave multiplier, i dont have a real oscilloscope so i use Signal Scope Pro for this purpose. In Numerology i use a lot the Bluecat oscilloscope plugin to see the Cv genareted by the Cv2Audio module or the varous Sw plugin.
I've found that work in this manner help me lot in workflow.

You probably mean the SonogramViewDemo sample code (https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#samplecode/SonogramViewDemo/Introduction/Intro.html)? (link only accessible to registered apple devs)
Its carbon view seems to crash Numerology though... (it compiles ok and works fine in e.g. Reaper).
