So I'm loving the note processor... especially the random function... but I am wondering how to setup the note processor to generate random notes that fit the scale and are then sent out via the note generator... as there is no midi in on the note generator and no cv or interval in on the note processor... does this make sense?

Hello,

here is an example to show my way to do this.

Please have a look to the commentary module on top of the stack for some more information.

If you need more scales try for free: Always In Key
from here http://xmidi.com/aik.html
to use via ICA MIDI ports in and out.

ok i tried this out... thank you btw... but the problem is with the note processor at the end of the chain the random notes will not be in key... it there a way to make a stack that will generate random notes in key...

Just add a "Note Quantizer" module on the end -- but wait for the next beta (later today), there is a stuck note bug with that module that I just fixed... :)
