I recently ran across this really neat chorder from Mucoder for us who are chrodially impaired :)

http://www.mucoder.net/en/tonespace/

I've set it up as an Audio Unit with a Mono Note module, using CV1 to modulate the chord selection. Works really well, you have a huge selection of chords and tunings to choose from that are organized in a way that seems to compliment Numerology's fader-based GUI.

ETA:

Here are two bars from my first test, plus a bassline using a sample from a receipt printer I found:

I tried to set this up using both the internal synth and a MIDI output
bus and all I get is single notes. I can see the display in tonespace
showing the chords that should be being output, but I don't hear
them, only the notes coming from the Mononote Sequencer. Could
you post a screenshot, or more detailed information about how you
have this set up, as it does sound like a very powerful combination?
Thanks,
Scott

This is prob because you have not selected a chord yet. There is an item called "chord" by default it is set to "[1] Unison" Choose a different chord set.

The graphic display is for mouse input. Also make sure that the "Trigger" item is set to "Midi Triggers Note".

For some reason not all MIDI settings get saved when you restart Numerology. Make sure you save a preset for easy recall.

Thanks for your prompt reply. It turns out I had an older version of
tonespace which did not have all the proper functions. Once I got it
updated it, I could generate the chords as you described.:D
Cheers,
Scott
