Copy/paste/duplicate steps

For example by holding shift + mouse click to activate a drag box for selecting some active steps, after you could select the step you want as start point to copy/paste this selection, or duplicate it at the following step ?

I have some notes for some interesting copy/paste options with sequencer steps, but I haven't decided yet which approach to implement. Thanks for the input, I will add it to my list....
