Numerology LFO via Rewire in Ableton Live

is it possible to use Numerology as a midi LFO to modulate a vst in ableton?
i think that would be pretty cool!

You sure can! You can go way beyond that at as well by assigning various modulations to the step sequencers and or other modules and get totally crazy.
I've attached a project that contains a numerology project and a live project. Make sure the Rewire driver for Numerology is installed. Load the live project, then load the Numerology project so it enters rewire mode....

Sure. Send one(!) CC from Numerology to Live via a software midi bus. Invoke midi learn on the parameter you want to control in Live, and there you have it.

Hello,

this is also possible without Rewire.
For the setup sync/MTC please read the manual.
The controlers should be send via an IAC buss to Live.
For the setup in live you have to take care about setting the Takeover Mode in the Preferences to None and at the MIDI ports you have to switch the remote to On also as the Track.
With this settings the example works here with Live 7.14 and Numerology 2.0.1b6 without rewire.

To make the Livesettings more clear see the encluded picture from the preferences.

Old thread, I know, but I've just started to try Live so I'm a bit late to the party on this one.

I've tried the sample projects attached to this thread,and I wanted to check if this is really using Rewire to send MIDI from Numerology to Live.

I've experimented with both note and CC data, and there is a slight delay, which suggests it is just using the regular Numerology MIDI outs.

Does this work for others without any delay?
