There is no standardized definition of which octave number middle C is in. I've tried to standardize on middle C being C4. Numerology uses C3, so it's a little confusing for me.
Many audio programs have a preference to make middle C be either C3 or C4. It wish Numerology had this option too. Not a big deal, just a "nice to have" if it's not too difficult to add.
FWIW scientific pitch notation has standardized on middle C being C4 too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_pitch_notation
But Numerology comes from mysticism and the occult, so maybe it doesn't care what the scientists think ;)
