First post. Hi all.

Has anyone successfully been able to record multiple N2 stacks to multiple Logic Tracks? I'd like to take N2 Stack 1 output and record its MIDI to Logic Track 1, N2 Stack 2 output and record its MIDI to Logic Track 2.

I can only get it to record both N2 Stacks to a single Logic track. Has me stumped as I'm usually able to work things out in Logic.

I have taken the advice from pages 382-3 of the Logic manual and set up my project for Multiplayer Recording by switching on "Auto demix by channel if multitrack recording' option with no luck.

If anyone has this working, it'd be appreciated if you'd attach the Logic Project environment. Thanks and really looking forward to enjoying N2!

Hello,

here is a zip with a Logic 8 template for sendind 16 MIDI channels to Logic on 16 tracks ( Channel 1 - track 1 .... ) you just have to set your instruments there and send MIDI from Numerology to Logic.
I found this on the web sometime ago but no more shure from what programm it was. When you need more than 16 MIDI/Tracks you need to go over the Environment, but for the most things this will be ok I think.

Thanks Jue. I tried the template (nice work on the faders!) but it didn't work for me with N2.

I also tried a couple of other things with no luck.

I've had success integrating a bunch of external HW & IAC routed SW into Logic, so maybe I need to give it a rest and try again later.

I can record each Stack individually via Rewire, so that will get me by in the meantime.

Looking forward to other good suggestions.

BTW, MIDI recording on multiple tracks in Live via Rewire is a dream. Easy. So I'll be using Live for MIDI dumps from N2 and then just load them up in Logic.
