It would be useful to be able to load patches via controls built into the window containing an AU's editor. I know I can do this via the main window, but needing to CMD-` all the time slows things down.

'Previous' and 'Next' patch buttons would be helpful to speed up auditioning.

An option for the editor window to be 'always on top', i.e. remain at the front whilst editing a sequencer would also be great.

Change the sort order in the module library so that the sort for plugin manufacturer names ignores case, i.e those that begin with lower case letters are sorted in with those that begin with upper case letters, rather than after them which is the current behaviour.

I have two concerns with this. The first is that I can create a much better AU preset browser as a separate floating window -- think of something that is a cross between a nested menu and a file browser. You could leave it 'floating' for patch selection, or use it menu-style such that it automatically goes away as soon as you pick a patch.

The other issue is that it seems like most commercial AU's have their own
preset browsers, so adding another to the AU window itself just duplicates that functionality.

'Previous' and 'Next' patch buttons would be helpful to speed up auditioning.

An option for the editor window to be 'always on top', i.e. remain at the front whilst editing a sequencer would also be great.

Duly noted, I've seen both of these requests before.

That I will definitely do, I've noticed that myself also...

Cheers,
Jim

Jim, thanks for your reply. I would be more than happy with your suggestion of a preset browser.
