Hi!
I`m trying to use two different midi-controllers at the same time, korg nanoy key and touchOSC for ipod, i need them both at the same time connected to one stack. Is it possible? And i don't want to create another stacks to do it...
Thanks!

i solve a similar issue (padkontrol and nocturne to control the same stack) with Midipipe (http://homepage.mac.com/nicowald/SubtleSoft/)
with this little but useful software you can merge two midi device in one (and perform other manpulation of midi message)
hope this help

Hey! this is good idea! Why i didn't think about it...i made custom software converting OSC messages from TouchOSC to midi, i will just add support for my midi controller there..thanks:)
Anyway, it will be nice to have this function in Num itself...

I second this request. Would love to see the convenience of more midi inputs/outputs per stack.
On track for 2.1, along with "direct I/O" for audio and CV...

Cool.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but is multiple ins/outs for audio unit on the roadmap? I tried to put together a quick AU with support for sidechain input on one channel, but soon remebered that every audio patchcord in Numerology is a stereo signal, so now way to patch in different left and right signals.
Now the Drumkit module has got multiple outs, and the audio feedback module has got multiple ins, sooo... But I guess coding these things are a complete different thing than hosting AUs with it?
Multiple I/O support is on the list for the "pro" version. Doing multiple outputs for the DrumKit, being a 'native' Numerology module, is *much* easier than the configuration needed to handle multi-out AU's.
Cheers,

Hello! I wondering, will we get this feature in 2.1? it is already RC 3 and no sign...
Thank you!
Not for 2.1. Multi-stream I/O support for AU's will definitely be in the pro version.

Well, i meant first feature, from the header of topic, multiple midi devices to control one stack...

For this purpose you can use the MIDI IN Module.
you can set a midi in , i.e. IAC bus 2 as midi in the stack, then put a MIDI IN Module and set his midi in for another midi device
Connect the output of this 2 module to the midi input of you softsynth. This merge your midi data flow.

yes, this is exactly what i was requesting long time ago...looks like now it's implemented:)
Thanx!

Oh, right, my bad, I should have re-read the topic header... :D
Anyway, yes, as amsonx mentioned, see the MIDI In module...
