I visited schneiders laden this week.
They had the flame clockwork on demo.

My thought was that it is possible to do this with numerology too.
It would be great if numerology could output this on a midi out which is routed to a channel in logic which plays a midi file.
Can it be done?
The clockwork is a pretty complex device -- what feature in particular are you interested in?

What I like about clockwork is that you can randomize the clock and shift it and/or create intervals.
It has midi out so I suppose you can send these parameters to a midi triggered beat.
I would like to be able to send this to the drumsequencer or to an audio instument like battery which is being played in logic by a midi file or in numerology.
I am looking for a possibility to create shifting "machinelike" beats on the fly without any programming.
I'll keep the 'flexible' clock thing in mind, but for now I think the best approach is to use one of the sequencers in Numerology to feed MIDI directly to your plugins and/or hardware. All of the Note Sequencers support some pretty wacky timing options, including modulatable speed controls, gate divide (great for 'ratchety' audio-rate effects), random step jumping and the like. The next techniques video will demonstrate some speed modulation tricks...
Cheers,
