Step repeat function

As i understand this setting supposed to set step to repeat itself x times... But at least on my computer, it is not really sending note on and note off message x times, even if it looks like it waits some time before moving to another step...

Can somebody clear it to me?

Oh, o'key, gate was in "tie" mode... i wonder, if there any information about this in documentation...

There's some about it in the MonoNote doc:

What happens internally is that the sequencer sets a counter, and repeats the step until the counter is done (zero). You can also think of it like a gate divide, but with a longer step length. In the case you mentioned, the gate (note length within a step) was full on (tie), so repeating the step just made it longer.
