Not sure how difficult this would be to implement, but one of my favorite UI features of the programs I use most, Renoise and Ableton is a full screen feature where the OS X menu bar completely disappears and the program takes up the entire screen. It may seem like a minor thing but I've discovered that I enjoy working with programs much more when the OS is out of view and I switch between apps through Spaces.

There will be a revision of the UI layout for the pro version, it will bring back multiple windows and also offer a full-screen mode.

Cheers,
Jim

Refamiliarizing myself with Numerology following a long hiatus(v.1 and before). The timeline/mixer/rack implementation is great. Having the option to view multiple windows simultaneously on a large monitor would be very useful and even better would be the abililty to break out stacks for simultaneous viewing. I've looked through the UI and 2.0 manual but aside from Jim's mention above of multiple windows, either I'm missing something intuitive or the single app window is still a limitation.

Using the current version of Num3 Pro.

Can anyone offer clues or forecasts?

I've had to put off a proper full-screen mode until after 3.0 is out. I totally understand the need -- I'd love to be able to have 2 stacks size-by-side. Thanks for bringing it up though, that does help bump it up the todo list!

Cheers,
Jim

Thanks Jim. Happy to know you see the value. Numerology seems to offers an education in visual feedback and I look forward to giving it lots of screen real estate. :)

Yes, please :) Columns inside the main window or separate windows (create windows from tabs like in Safari?), or both :)

It might be cool to have a button and hot key to hide / show the Library column.
