Hi !

Here is somethin I made on N2 : No arrangement, just many modulations on sequences, sequences on modulations, etc. This is a bit boring after 1", you can drink, smoke or run during hearing : for recording, I just pressed play and then go to the kitchen for 3 minutes of coffee drinking.

There are no treatment, just a soundhack +delay for fun and color. I tried with LiveCut, but these kind of glitches are really boring now. I prefer make all my cuts and mangling FX's on Cubase, sound by sound : but I haven't Cubase, so I don't make audio cuts and I try to find another way to make it with N2.

Next track will be more agressive ! I found the "FM" weapon on the Nord rack :)

This is a bit complicated ! I'll deal with time and I'll do this :)

So !

I'll explain my template :

1st stack, called "Beat/1".

- MatrixSeq ---> Nord Rack A.
- ModulationSeq ---> MatrixSeq's rate.
- LFO on 16 beats ---> MatrixSeq's direction. (not very important)

2nd stack, called "Beat/2".

- MatrixSeq ---> Nord Rack B.
- ModulationSeq ---> MatrixSeq's rate.

3rd stack, called "Chords".

- MatrixSeq ---> Nord Rack C.
- ModulationSeq ---> Mute status of the stack.
- ModulationSeq ---> Solo status of the stack.

---- Values are fun, no 4/4 really but big cycles, they aren't repeating ----

4th stack, called "Beat/Audioin"

(I used the soundhack +delay, I removed it)

- Soundhack +delay ---> ears
- Dual LFO /1 ---> Feedback
- Dual LFO /2 ---> Time

This delay is a really particular thing. You can turn the feedback to 200%, a limiter is very useful. It gives to the nord rack a good sound (like a tonal delay with a short Time value), and adds some not volunteer vinyl-like FX. It's the greatest FX I've got, and it's freeware. I want to buy the Spectral Shapers !

I downloaded all the suite last week !

I like them all. It's the first freeware realtime spectral-suite for mac, I guess.

I need to experiment with it and N2 :) Endless possibilities !
