Hi, I'm new at Numerology, and Macs, as well. I just bought a mac mini, and I have my MOTU micro lite connected via usb. The micro lite then is connected to a few hardware synths. The "computer i/o" led is lit up on the micro lite, so I know the connection there is ok.

In Numerology I have a mono note sequencer put in a rack, with no other modules. I can't seem to get the micro lite to receive any midi notes or other commands from Numerology. The output module gives me a choice of midi 1 through 4 (even though there are 5 ports on the micro lite), and it recognizes my m-audio keyboard controller. I choose "midi 1" and listen for the synth hooked up to port 1 on the micro lite, but no notes are being received by it. How do I know whether Numerology "sees" my micro lite?

I know this is a very basic "hook up" issue, software or otherwise. If this issue sounds familiar to anyone, please enlighten me! I can't wait to play with this sequencer!

Thanks,

Rich

No worries -- I would have replied last night, but was out late.
