I request features as seen in the new http://tones.wolfram.com/
Its amazing.
Stuff to help aid composition in this way.
Also, motu's Volta combined with your sequencer should be amazing. It would be great if you made some stuff that caters to volta and modular sequencing. Maybe stuff like granular sequencing for analog synths. Sky is the limit.

Interesting, I'll definitely have to read up on it. I have a copy of "A New Kind of Science", but haven't looked at it in a while...

My copy of Volta arrived this week, though it will be a few days before I get a chance to try it out....
"granular sequencing", interesting term, do you care to elaborate?
Cheers,

In deed an interesting term my modest interpretation of it would be sequencers that can be sped up to a ridiculous rates maybe in non musical value (perhaps in cycles per second). This would give the impression of a constant tone but with the step lengths being different . Ive however no idea how this would sound but I just wanted to post my idea of what this term means as Ive never heard of it before .

granular sequencing would be granular synthesis but you would need a sequencer to help you. Stuff like grain clouds or short audio rate bursts.
Also, I hope people make really amazing analog cloned sequencers for volta. Really though the potential is endless. This is the kind of VST I like. Not analog synth clones but analog sequencer clones with actual CV Gate

re: granular sequencing, I haven't found it very difficult to make "clouds" of midi notes using the current toolset included with numerology, especially if the synth being used has enough polyphony. I don't suppose the midi data is running at quite audio rate, but I have been able to get pretty fast. have you given it a try?
That wolfram tones website looks like it is just a cellular automata based sequencer, but in this case, they are using one-dimensional automata instead of two dimensional, which has been more popular lately. There is a good MIDI app that can send midi data from a 2d cellular automaton,
http://www.glitchds.com/
and there is also automaton from audio damage, which is a sequenced effect, instead of a midi sequencer.
There is also a "game of life" sequencer included with reaktor that is fun to use.
Also, it seems like if there were boolean operators in the midi/CV processing set, you could just build a small 'game of life' with what is already in numerology.
