Hi, I am a new user. Yesterday I bought numerology 2, and I love it. However, there is an issue for me: the timing of the notes generated by numerology is really sloppy when in reWire mode( logic 8).
Any ideas of what might cause this? Its not like the whole thing is behind or rushing, it´s more like random notes that are untight. Reason works perfect.

Email me offline with a copy of your project and a listing of your audio device settings in Logic (sample rate, buffer size, audio device name).
Cheers,
Jim
A couple more notes on this:
You'll get the most accurate and lowest-latency timing if you host the AU in Numerology. Anytime you send MIDI from one app to another, there is going to be some latency (generally 1 audio buffer's worth). Also, there may be a very, very low amount (much less than 1ms) of variance in timing with ReWire mode, which has to do with the details of generating accurate MIDI timestamps in ReWire mode. That can be easily fixed by applying a light amount of quantization after tracking MIDI into the other app.
Best,
Jim

Hi everyone, this problem was solved by changing the ReWire settings in Logic´s audio preferences from "playback mode" to "live mode".
This is supposed to hog down the cpu more, but i don´t know if there will be any practical difference.

This helps indeed !
But , when logic is in loop mode , when skipping to the left locator , there is sometimes midi drop out :(
Just checking: That is in ReWire mode, correct? Tell me what the tempo is, as well as the loop settings (start and end bar), and the rate that the Numerology sequencer is running at.
Thanks!
Jim
