So i downloaded the demo as this looks an interesting program and with soft synths i was very impressed, but... i cant figure out how to connect my synths(hardware), i have 4 synths connected into a seperate channel on my mixer(firewire) http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/NRV10.html
Standard jack to jack connection - is it possible to use numerology with this or do i need some sort of midi connection for my laptop. Sorry if this is stupid but im quite new to computer programs.

thanks

Yes you need some sort of midi hub to send data from N2 to your synths theres loads to choose from . Maybe check with jim before you buy one to make sure itll work but im sure most if not all will work .

Ive used these before tho not with N2 but I found them to be fairly solid

I've always had good luck with MOTU's MIDI interfaces. The thing to watch for when shopping around for any MIDI interface is support for Core MIDI's timestamps, which is the only way to get accurate timing in OS X.

Cheers,

MOTU Micro Lite - 5 in 5 out
EMU 2x2 - 2 in 2 out

also the 2 MIDI In and Out from my Tascam US-428 AudioInterface / Remote
