HI,

I'm using a FaderBox via a ParamMod in a "controller" stack to set a value for a parameter in another stack. Now, I need to set the FaderBox fader exactly to -0,42 in order to have the sounding parameter acting musically correctly. But this is not possible with the FaderBox! I can set it to -0,41 or -0,43 but the correct value is just skipped over.

Background:
What I'm doing, in detail, is to use three Augustus Loop plug-ins to first record one audio note and then changing pitch, by the FaderBox through three presets, differently for each looper to form certain triad chords. This is particularly cool when using the continuous pitch function of Augustus Loop (rather then the semi note pitch mode). When controlling continuous pitch from the FaderBox it's fun to use the Glide parameter for "THX jingle" style chord changes in those three loopers.

Ahh... interesting. I was going to suggest using the Keyboard module, in conjunction with a Scale & Offset and ParamMod to do it, and perhaps that might be useful as you can use the 'scale' part to detune. But anyway, your best bet with the FaderBox is to enter the value manually in the 'target' number field for the fader. I'll make a note to add a "shift-drag" to those faders for higher resolution control...

Cheers,
Jim

I tried that but didn't succeed. Tried both to double click the target
field and just type into it in the mouse-over position but no way I
could get it to pick up what I was typing.

So when you click on the number box (only one click is necessary),
it doesn't respond to any keyboard input?

Minor note: usually you have to hit 'return' for the new value to stick.
