I want to generate MIDI clock out of Numerology to drive the arpeggiators / LFO clocks/ Delay times / etc on some of my synths. I can't seem to get this to work. I have set Midi clock out on Ports 1 and 4 in the Numerology preferences interface but nothing seems to be transmitted when I hit play in numerology.
Haven't found anything useful so far in the documentation on how to set this up properly
OS 10.4.11

Be sure the "power" button next to the 'sync' label in the transport is on, that is the master on/off switch for sync. Also let me know where the synths live -- i.e. hardware or software, AUs in Numerology or hosted somewhere else, etc....
Cheers,
Jim
hello,
did you set the MIDI sync out like at the picture?
This works for me.
You have to select the MIDI outs were your hardware is connected to, normaly your MIDI Interface, here they are connected to the internal IAC busses 1 and 2
The Numerology out 1-4 are for internal use only.

That seemed to do it, although I'm not 100% certain about how I got it working finally, this definitely helped.
This is for external midi synths, I'm not using AU's currently with Numerology, just running a big pile of external synthesizers. I like some of the AU's I have (Zebra CM, Minky Starshine, all the free ones) but they don't have the gritty character that the hardware synths seem to have.
