Hi,
For those of you that use Camel Audio's Alchemy, we released an important update to v1.10 yesterday to correct some issues with the volume being too loud for some patches.
If you already have the content and bonus presets installed, you only need to download and install the v1.10.10 update, which is available from your Camel Audio support account.
Release notes for v1.10.10:
This update contains fixes for several issues which were unfortunately introduced in 1.10.6.
- Fix: the additive part of sources which are mono and either use only sine waves with symmetry at 0% or a single additive oscillator are 6dB louder than they should be. The effect of this bug is that a few presets were 6dB louder than they should be 1.10.6 - presets loaded in 1.10.10 sound identical to 1.09.
- Fix: noise heard in pre 1.10.10 presets when playing sounds through sampler with zero length loop at start of sound, and looping mode set to continuous, sustain or forward/back.
- Fix: issue with presets loaded in 1.10.6 which relied on very precise values of the position knob and which had silence at the end of the sample, sounded different
- Fix: corrupt config files could cause a crash on import page
