today I found this:

Turn your Mac into a Timecode Synchronizer!
Without any additional Hardware required!

Simply feed SMPTE Audio Signal into an Audio Input of your Mac,
SMPTE Reader creates MIDI Timecode (MTC) of it
and sends it to any MIDI Destination Port of your computer.

Has anyone the possibility to test this and let us know wether it works?
