Howdy all,
I just wanted to post a quick update on the status of the MonoNote AU. I've gotten results back from most of the testers and overall I'm very pleased with the results. The plugin launches correctly in all 3 hosts on the initial support list (Logic, DP and Live), the UI works properly, presets are correctly saved and loaded, MIDI transmission works, and transport tracking is at least pretty good most of the time.
On the gripe list were a couple crashes (most likely due to buffer issues I expected), some tempo weirdness here and there, and odd window behavior in Live --- all very reasonable given the still rough nature of the plugin. I'm particularly happy that the UI came up properly in Live for all who reported -- getting a Cocoa UI to open up in a Carbon window is quite tricky... I plan to have a new build ready for the testers in a couple weeks with bug fixes and a more complete feature set, including preset patterns, AU hosting, and other goodies, including something I call "pitch glide".... ;)
Cheers,
Jim
