Hello all. Long time lurker first time posting. ;)
I have a Novation Remote SL series (zero) controller that I have been trying to set up in such a way that the various knobs and sliders control pitch and gate functions in a MonoNote module in Numerology. I'm controlling the RemoteSL through the Automap 3.2 software.
On the first page the bottom row of knobs, assigned to CC#'s 8-15, would act as the pitch adjustment for the first 8 steps. The row of sliders, assigned to CC#'s 16-23, would act as the gate adjustment for those steps.
This works very nicely when using the "Learn MIDI CC" commands in Numerology, but when I try to introduce another page on the RemoteSL, with a different set of CC#'s to assign to steps 9-16, Numerology treats the controls the same, and I could find no way to verify what CC#'s Numerology believes it's receiving.
I'm on OSX, and have been running MIDI Monitor to check the outgoing CC's from Automap and they are distinct when I flip between pages, and I've tried turning off all irrelevant midi ports in Numerology, and am out of ideas.
I think I read somewhere that Jim uses a Novation as well. Perhaps he could comment on this?
Thanks in advance for any advice! :)
