It isn't done yet, but here is a preview of the new UI for the MonoNote AU. I'll have a new build ready for the private beta list shortly...

This looks very nice! I love the more modern style of the buttons etc.

One small gripe, however: I think the main part, with the actual sequencer, looks a bit detached from the rest. In my opinion it would look better if it was something like this:

Obviously, there could be stuff off-screen we don't see, which might break my suggestion / make the original look good. Merely offering some input :)

I think Interval and Velocity/Gate should be on different sequencers! A lot of fun in using a tool like this is to create poly rhythm tension between the phrase in pitch and the phrase in gate - using different number of steps for each.

Looks great ... For Num 2.2 I think you announced the adapted grid backgrounds ... can this be also done in the AU?

I agree with you Per Boysen !
The sliders colors should be different for each section also .... :)
But the actual look is very nice ...

Keep in mind that this is still the MonoNote module, so it will not have any options other than what are available in the standalone release. However, I do recognize the usefulness of discrete sequencing and modulation, so there will be options for those later on, after the 1.0 release of this plugin.

Hey everybody - this truly rocks!!! Thinking about how cool it will be to set up a Mainstage concert driven by MonoNote (and other?) plugins.
