Lots of good news! I once bought a Big Tone preset library for Albino 3 and that was a really good one. Support for importing Cameleon 5000 patches is very nice too. I have some C5k patches I like a lot. They all sounded differently on Alchemy 1.11.14 though, quite dull and all the same... maybe I did not do it the right way by using Alchemy's "File/Load" function to select and open a .c5i file of Cameleons?

Hi,
BigTone is a very talented sound designer and this bank is really starting to show what Alchemy is capable of. He spent a long time working on these sounds, and helped us improve some of the features in Alchemy so everyone benefits with or without the bank :)
The Cameleon import function was originally planned for the next version (v1.12) but we decided it's good enough to release now. However it is not "perfect" and most likely never will be. Alchemy has a much higher quality (re) synthesis engine, while Cameleon sounds tend have a certain metallic sheen to them.
We will be improving the sound of imported presets for the next release so if you have any presets that really don't sound right, please send them to support [at] camelaudio [dot] com and we'll run some tests.
Peace,
Andy.

Andy, you don't happen to know a trick to use a little bigger tuning libraries with Alchemy? It uses the same (.tun) file system as Chameleon and I'd like to copy over the Chameleon .tun files into Alchemy's "Tuning" folder so they will be directly available from insided the Alchemy GUI. But it seems Alchemy reads all files in the Tuning when initiating as a plug-in with a host and that the Chameleon library is too big? Both Ableton Live and Logic crashes when I launch Alchemy if keeping that much files in its "Tuning" folder.
I also have an applications to convert Logic's micro tuning from the Scala format to fit Alchemy, there is the same issue: too many files for Alchemy.
Is there some way to increase Alchemy's file browsing capability in order to brows more tuning files? It's so tedious having to close down and move over tuning files from folder to folder, in the computer's os, and then boot up again to monitor them.
