hey ..anybody remember the instrumet for reaktor "leviathan2/3" ..great generating posibilities .i used it for note generation...i loved the stepless shuffle knob ... dont know how to recreate it in numerology ..i wish here could be a shuffle changing the step behavior to something more living ..as i understand i can change the groove sliders but i miss a overall shuffle for an intrument/sequencer

thx in advance ..

I don't know the leviathan patch, but you can easily setup the GrooveClock in Numerology to provide global swing/shuffle:

- for any project, select the Clock stack.
- The default length for this groove pattern is 1 beat (you can adjust it over on the right of the module, the param is "Len".
- Set the basic groove pattern you want by dragging the "diamond" timing controls right or left, probably to the most extreme setting you plan to use.
- Then you can use the "groove amount" slider to adjust (or modulate) the overall groove amount.

Cheers,
Jim

i know jim ...that could be a walkaround ...but i it is a global one ....im thinking of a sequencer private :) where u can combine different shuffles of diferent sequencers and get interesting patterns ..that is the idea ...hm..yes i wish one :)..thx jim ..

It's not only a global GrooveClock. You can add as many GrooveClock-modules as you like...

Yes, you can always add a clock module to a stack.

I also just realized there is another way to do this by using the "select" feature: Select the steps whose groove you want to modify (such as every other step) using the buttons on the "sel" row, then drag the groove slider for any of those selected steps. It isn't quite as convenient as it could be, as you have to kill the selection to continue editing the pattern, but it does give me some ideas...

Jim
