Hello

here some information to all were we come from and we will see that we are a little late in time.

The 'Wall of Sound,' an electro-mechanical sequencer designed & built by Raymond Scott, 1950s (New York)

http://RaymondScott.com/1946.htm

and the circle machine here:

http://RaymondScott.com/circle.html

and the ELECTRONIUM here:

Here the words of Robert Moog visiting the studio of Raymond Scott in the mid 1950s:

°So there my father and I were with our mouths hanging open!
It looked like heaven to me.°

Nothing more to say

Thank you Jue,
I found these links to be very interesting.

Wish the descriptions of the devices were much more detailed is all.

I've often had the same thoughts myself, but my guess is that the circle machine itself is a very straightforward device. For more an esoteric circle-based sequencer that is better documented, check out the Buchla 250e (http://buchla.com/series200e.html).

Cheers,
Jim

hello,

I am not realy shure, but I think the circle machine is a more a audiodevice than sequencer, possible some kind of audiosequencer
There are not a lot of informations to find.
