Hello,
as with the Numerology 2.3 Beta 5 the problem with the Curr Step at the Param Mod has been fixed,
Thank You Jim!,
its now possible to use the Seqs as some kind of EventTables.
The main idea is that you can select some presetvalues by selecting the currend step of a Seq.
As a first example you will find a project that makes it possible to set up custom scales.
From a MonoNote MIDIout the notenumber is send to a IntervalSeq via ParamMode to select the currend step there.
At this IntervalSeq you can now set the value of the selected step to fit exactly what scale you want and you can decide wether the not outside the scale should go up or down.
The only work is to go thru 128 steps and setting up the scale and export this IntervalSeq with the name of the scale for further use private or sharing your scales over the forum.
If you are in Arabic Scales or some other were not only halftones are needed you can set a ModulationSeq aside the IntervalSeq and send values via PitchBend to get the needed quatertones. Even Microtonal selections are possible with this tricks.
Be careful this works only for monophonic lines, but you can dublicate your stack os often you need it.
The examples only show the setup only, no 5000 new scales by the push of a button, there should be also some work left for others!
best
jue
PS: The easiest variation could been reached by pressing the invert button at the IntervalSeq....
