Nice track. While there is that Tangerine Dream element to it as hinted by the title, I really like the granular sounding percussive rattles panned to the left and right.

This is great music. It is so sophisticatedly layered but i can't decipher all the layers, although you do hear them. That's really really cool. It developes almost organically, gradually. Beautiful.
Plus very nice sounds, i wonder which ones are Andromeda, as i had that synth as well but found it too complex.

Thanks for your very acute observations of the track. Thats exactly what I'm aiming for.
I find that so much develops organically if I randomly let the parts speak for themselves. Gradually peaking out of the mix they assert themselves.
Every sequenced sound is from my modular controlled by Numerology. The andromeda does the strings and the bass pad.
The Andromeda is a funny beast. It sounds really great, especially those filters. It is pretty complex. It hurts my brain, so I try not to think about it to much.
I always start with a patch that is close to where I want to get, then tweak those knobs until it evolves. Alot is hit and miss.
There is a very cool utility for it that does an amazing sequenced style of genesis programming called "The Andromedizer", I don't have a link handy though.
