More fixes and tweaks...

Cheers,

Release Notes:

Audio Unit I/O Checking:
- I've disabled I/O checking when starting up in ReWire mode, to avoid the occasional case when an AU doesn't follow Apple's guidelines about not opening windows during AudioUnitInitialize.

- If you hold down the control key while Numerology is starting up, it will skip any checking for Audio Unit I/O info.

Audio Units w/ multiple inputs
- Fixed a problem where AUs with multiple inputs weren't always working correctly -- specifically AU's w/ sidechain inputs.

Module Settings:
- The settings list for a module now updates immediately when a new settings file for that module is exported.

Misc Fixes & Updates
- Changed the "Enable Launchpad" pref to be on by default.
- Fixed some layout issues in the Module Run Mode Settings dialog.
- Fixed a labeling error in the MatrixSeq (Pitch In -> Interval In)
- Cleaned up the layout of the "timing mode" control in the MatrixSeq

Are we supposed to just install this over the last or erase Build 8 first?

Will this mess with our stack library if we've already started building one?
Keep up the good work!

Are we supposed to just install this over the last or erase Build 8 first?

Just re-run the installer, it will install over the old one.

FYI: The installer just does these things:
- Write the "Numerology 3" app dir to /Applications -- erasing any previous dir with that name.

- Write "Numerology3RewireDriver.plugin" to /Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire (again, replacing any previous version).

- Write the "factory" stack library to /Library/Application/Support/Five12/Numerology/StackLibrary

Will this mess with our stack library if we've already started building one?

There are two Stack Libraries, one at what OS X calls the "Local" level, which lives in /Library/Application/Support/Five12/Numerology/StackLibrary,
and another at the "User" level, which lives inside your home dir:
<your home dir>/Library/Application/Support/Five12/Numerology/StackLibrary

When you export stacks from Numerology, they always go into the "User" version. As long as you don't manually put stacks in the "Local" a.k.a. factory stack library, you'll be fine. If you have any concerns, just uncheck the "Install Stack Library" option in the installer.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks!

Cheers,
Jim
