Launcpad and Realtime Recording

I've run into a puzzle regarding disabling note entry into the DrumSeq and MonoNote while using the Launchpad. I understand that Realtime Recording is automatically enabled when navigating to the play page via the Launchpad. There are times when I want to audition without committing changes so I thought to simply click the flashing record button assuming that this would disable recording. This however is not the case. Realtime recording of launchpad entries continue with the recording control disabled. What say you oh wise numerologists?

Not yet, but thanks for the ping. I'll be finishing off some launchpad details for N4 shortly, and will look into this again...
